hmm do you think i could sew it up to fit tighter? and would that be the same measurements on the zebra dress?

I'm sure you could, the seams are under the arms so you'd probably have no real problem tightening it up if you knew what you were doing with alterations and such. It's made of sturdy material so it's not like it would fall apart if you tried to take it in a bit. The zebra dress would probably be similar, although I've never altered anything so I don't know for sure. That dress fits pretty true-to-size and is layered so altering it might be a bit more tricky.
