It's been bothering me for awhile now that there are a lot of people that know they are supposed to be moderate and being extreme is a huge problem for both left wing and right wing leaning people, but instead of being moderate, there are a lot of people that end up hypocrites and being two faced.
Here are some examples:
Stephen Colbert wants to be Catholic and extremely left wing at the same time.
Alexandra Pelosi, the daughter of Nancy Pelosi and documentary film maker, made a film called San Francisco 2.0 which is supposed to be about income inequality and how only the ultra rich can live in San Francisco now and by proxy a lot of other left wing leaning cities. She wants to point out income inequality, but also is not very critical of the technological elite. She also did not get ANY leaders in the field of Bay Area technology to appear in her documentary.
Gavin Newsome, future Democratic Party luminary, and current mayor of San Francisco, appears in Pelosi's documentary and is quoted as saying the leaders of the field of technology need to "really step up", but he is the leader of the city that is being excoriated and maybe he has needed to "step up".
