i'm so sick of my job, things just keep getting more and more fucked. now they are trying to force people to cut their hours so they can save money. i'm sorry, but you hired me for 40 hours and week and i need that money. maybe you could not buy the doctors' lunches everday or pay for doctors to go to bullshit conferences in aruba for a week who then spend $3000 on dinner for everyone!!!! so dumb. i'ven been applying for jobs (what little ones are available) but have not gotten a single call back in months. it's very depressing. i applied today for another library job. i wish one of them would give me a freakin' chance. i think i would really enjoy working in a library and would actually like to get the hell out of here! ugh, plus i'm still sick so i'm just an unhappy camper today. the only thing i'm looking forward to is lunch because we have a uniform sale today and there's a baked potato bar at lunch. sometimes it's those little things that can make or break a day.
i slept too much yesterday. after i got home from work i watched the ending of "poetic justice" (haven't seen that movie in years!) then fell asleep from 6 to around 8:30. i was kind of in and out of it for a bit, but when i realized rupaul's drag race was on i woke up, haha. of course i then had trouble falling asleep, but once i was out i was good.
