(no subject)
so heres the thing:
i've got this little place in ne portland with a little man and a bath tub that ain't so little.
i've got two jobs which both drive me nuts in completely different ways:
1. interpreter for the little ukrainian babushki/russkie in area
2. retail.
the pluses of the interpreting gig is that i get blessed by old believer grandmas with great frequency. the minuses is that i wind up in nutty places and find myself bumbling in ways i hadn't anticipated.... interpreting to a lady that hears voices that her psychiatrist thinks its from the lack of red meat in her diet..thats not even the half of it.
but i'm going to japan in december with the little man to visit his mother and brother. for almost a month... top five things i didn't see coming include: going to japan.

other news: the lemon tree is doing alright, i fear the day when there are no more lemons. it will be soon. thanksgiving was nice, i spent it with the little man and his father's family. i am knitting and will be felting the cutest hat that has come my way. i have to work at six am tomorrow. i hate retail. yes, and the holidays have already hit, and its so super lame. buy nothing day was NOT observed at my place of work. middle aged women went nuts. and continue to go nuts.
i miss having friends. being new in town is also kinda lame.
