one week down, and i miss my boys (and girls)

So, I live in a National Park now. It's pretty cool, except for the spiders that are EVERYWHERE in my house. The work days are incredibly long - about 13hrs a day, but I am learning a lot of cool stuff about nature, watersheds, biodiversity, sustainability and taking care of the Earth. I'm glad you liked Cleveland (or C-Town as we say up here) and hopefully soon you will see the great jewel of Northeast Ohio that is Parma. I also hope/pray that your time in Peninsula, specifically the hamlet of Everett, goes well and that you can enjoy it as much as I did last year. But I definitely know what you mean about the loneliness struggle here in the Park, far away from all friends that you feel completely comfortable with and then being really isolated with just the people you work with (and so see enough of already!) ;) All this is to say, I hope we can help each other out this year. Welp, see ya tomorrow! :)

Amanda I know you miss your friends but your expiriance sounds amazing!!!
I'm so excited to hear more about it.
I love all of this environmental stuff that you're learning it sounds so exciting!
