It's nearly midday and I'm still having some serious difficulty trying to keep my eyes open... not a good start to the week!
Bits and bobs:
* Caught up with Nicole, Dianne and Andrea over lunch in Mordialloc on a nice sunny day. Gossiped and reminisced on the good ol' days of Mentor... haha funny times.
* Been walking a fair bit lately (from Parliament to work every morning, trying to walk from Glenhuntly to home every evening, and just more activity in general) and cutting down on portion sizes/shit food in an effort to lose some weight. I'm taking the fact that all of my work pants now keep threatening to slide off my arse as a sign of progress. I'd be way more excited about having to buy a new wardrobe though, if I actually had the funds to do so.
* Got my winery tour idea shot down and the Tramcar Restaurant is booked out until October, so I'm taking Mum to high tea at the Langham Hotel for Mother's Day on the Saturday, then on the Sunday I'm going out with the whole fam for yum cha goodness yayyyyy (what was that about cutting down on shit food???)!
* Speaking of Mum, she ended up beating me to the punch and getting a tattoo ahahahaha... dammit.
* I have about $200 worth of gig tickets that I need to buy quite soon blahhhhh!!!
* Went on a "date" with Rory in South Yarra the other weekend - I don't care how big their margaritas are, Fiesta fucking SUCKS. Gone Baby Gone was a pretty good movie though.
* New Dark Knight trailer (non-bootlegged, HD version) up today - woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
Oh yeah and we got a call from the real estate agent last week - landlord wants to sell our apartment. Again. Yeeeep time to go through all this shit for a second time... sigh.
