"...and in a funny way, the [cutting of my hair] has been a liberation from a lot of stupid vanities really, it has simplified everything for me, it has opened a lot of doors for me maybe." Yule and I have got something in common.

For those of you who aren't aware, I lost my bank card two weeks ago. Unfortunately I had only $4 in my possession at the time, but fortunately, I'm upper middle class and from Westchester, so I had my parents' credit card. I've been living strictly off of dhall and skidmore card for a while now. Campus Safety just called me to say I have an express package waiting for me in their office. It's a money order. Sweet liberty. Too bad it's Sunday though, otherwise I'd cash that baby and buy myself a good time.

My new trainer was recently diagnosed with cancer, which was a real shock. I think, despite how much I hated her the first couple of weeks I met her, she is becoming my role model. She's irreverent-cool, has two awesome little kids, a nice husband, a barn, the works. I hope she's alright. I'm doing evening barn chores tonight so that she can go to a mother's day thing. By the way, guys, it's mother's day.

Going home on Friday or something. I promised to give the little girls at the barn pony rides on my horse. So help me god, I'll find a way to do that. Also, I may have promised to drive up here Memorial Day weekend which is probably a bad idea, but, uh, nonetheless, a nice thing to do. Skidmore College was the best thing to happen to me in the most twisted way I can imagine. I owe a hell of a lot to Nick and both Jeffs.

I'm going to make this last week float on by.
