my dreamy geology professor told us a story about how he contracted a rare parasite while doing field work in panama. He had to receive experimental treatment from Georgia via the UK. He started pissing a lot, like once an hour, every hour. Then he found out the medication had destroyed his pancreas, and now he has type 1 diabetes. I have duly noted: don't go to countries where you risk contracting rare parasites. Also, if you start pissing a lot, get it checked out.
I've overheard some good conversations lately. One was a guy being dumped by his long distance girlfriend on the phone. Another was my vapid neighbor showing some emasculated asshole her new shoes and talking about how they fit on either foot.
Last night: slept a bit, met up with nick and his friends in tower, went to rocky horror too sober, smoked a bowl outside palamountain, went to the spa. nick and jacob are nice guys. nick ate a gingerbread cake for a free gram last weekend and then puked it all up. Props.
petrone was supposed to visit me this weekend but flaked out because he's a doucher. Emily is the only person to have visited me. Lots of people promised to. Lots of people are douchers. A resounding fuck you to certain people who deserve it. No man is an island and all that.
I'm in sixth grade, and I like a boy in fifth, but he's going out with a ninth
grader (total slut). She's only going out with him because I like him
but he doesn't see it. I know he likes me because every time I talk
about another guy, he gets jealous. What should I do? Karen, New York, NY
