If she had been perfectly honest with herself, Vasja had been ready to assume that Cipher Nine had died, executed by Weiss before she could find a way into Old Town to stop it. It was a few days before she was surprised with the agent's latest status update - still wounded, but alive and recovering, thank the Emperor - and it was a strange relief when she realized that she wouldn't have to eventually explain to Intelligence how one of their Cipher agents had actually ended up dead. It was almost as much a relief to know that, at least for a while longer, she wasn't going to left alone in this damned city after all.
The search itself was slower than she would have liked. Vasja didn't meditate quite as often as she should have been these days, and it took several moments to tune out distractions both inside her mind (you can't ignore us forever you little wretch) and from the surrounding city, feel nothing but the Force and through it, all the lives of those around her. Her connection to the agent was nothing compared to the Force-strengthened bond she had to Khem or Ashara, and nowhere quite as close as with Andronikos or even with Lieutenant Drellik. But Cipher Nine had looked out for her once, and she owed him for it. And it was because of that small sentiment that her focus was finally drawn right to him.
Still in Old Town, then. Good. After the beating he had taken before, staying put and laying low until he had at least some of his strength back must have been his best option. Vasja walked as quickly as she could, head down and the plain hood of her miner's vest pulled low over her face in a vain attempt to hide her corrupted features. That faint pull that connected her to him eventually lead her to the large, impressively ornate building in the middle of the district.
She entered as if she owned the place herself, pace picking up as she started down the hall and shouting, "A....Captain Sallian? Are you here?"
