December hadn't been the greatest month between her "routine visit" and Desmond getting sent on back home to save the world. But when the invite popped up for the Sanctuary's holiday party Kaylee decided to go out, find something to wear, and head on over for at least half an evening of fun. She was soldiering on, for Desmond. Just like she and Ezio discussed. Though going to a party in the dress she did probably wasn't the greatest way to go about soldiering on. When it was abundantly clear that Clay was fine with being a grumpy lump in the villa she didn't press him. She understood. Desmond leaving had affected them all pretty badly. Besides, she ended up with a little idea on her way to the Sanctuary. An idea that might at least bring a bit of cheer to his evening. Or at the very least get some food in that stomach of his.
So that one idea she let brew in her mind was the reason why she was heading back to the villa later in the evening, heels clicking on the steps as she navigated them while holding onto a stack of stolen paper plates and munchies. The front door gave her a little bit of trouble but she succeeded without any casualties. A small table gave her a needed break from carrying the food so she could take off her coat ... and the silly felt antlers with bells on them that she had been given "to protect her" on her walk home. Both things ended up on the staircase railing to wait for her while she looked for that certain assassin.
