After news of Desmond Miles leaving Mandalus, Helen wanted to give Kate some time. Lord knew she needed time to settle with the idea of Ashley being in Mandalus as well. Of course there was the sinking feeling that she'd never quite be used to the fact her dead daughter was present in her life again. It meant she'd have to let go of Ashley again, and she wasn't sure she could do it a second time. Even if there was more than one-hundred years between the events... it was a wound that never healed.
With a small sigh, Helen raised her hand and knocked on Kate's door. She was well aware the woman was spending more and more time at the Villa Auditore. It was no problem with her, given how Kate had grown close to the Assassins. After a moment she put her hand on the door knob and slightly opened the door.
