[The angel appears as he usually does - wait is that a new tie? It might be. It might also be silver. Thank you, Elizabeth. Still, everything is as it should be - trenchcoat, black suit, messy hair with at least two day's worth of stubble on the angel's chin. The blue eyes do seem more intent today - probably just the tie though

[Colour the god curious. He is, after all, celebrated on Thursdays too.] Your day of birth is a curious one.
As is your profession. It would be wise to find a name for your business, that way you may advertise better for it.
Reply
[He tilted his head, curious all on his own.] What name would you suggest, stranger?
Reply
[He considers for a moment.] Something fitting to your personality. Whoever knows you best may have an idea.
Reply
[He nods his head slowly and thoughtfully.] So I should ask my friends who are creative with such things.
Reply
[A light nod.] They would know better what kind of name would suit such a thing.
Reply
[He pursued his lips together.] Then ... do we share the birthday? Would you care to come and celebrate?
Reply
My own birthday is somewhere during in the Harvest. [He rules over the star sign Leo, he has discovered.] Thurseblot is within the next month, however, and that day is when Midgardians would honour me.
I'd gladly celebrate your birthday with you, but I would need to know your name first, friend.
Reply
I see. Then we should see about setting a celebration for you, Thor, son of Odin.
[He dips his head again.] I am Castiel, angel of Thursday. [There is no hammer - but as a sign of respect - the lightposts around him flicker as two huge black wings appear briefly from his back, shadows of the real thing.]
Reply
[Thor gives Castiel a bright smile, and a bow of his head in proper greeting.]
You are an angel of the Judeo-Christian religion, are you not? [He tilts his head a little.] You have no reason to be wary, I have no quarrel with your people.
Reply
[The angel tilted his head down, with respect.]
Yes, I am. The Lord is my Father. Gabriel is my older brother, an Archangel. [He paused.] That ... is not entirely true in my world, but I am glad enough to hear that. I have no quarrel with you, either.
Reply
[He smiles a little.]
Then we shall be allies, you and I, but I may have concerns for your brother, after his displays in the Venetian District in August. Then again, I have had much trouble with Tricksters of late.
Reply
[He smiles faintly himself.]
I know Gabriel - I know that he has caused trouble in the past ... but you must understand. He ... loves. Loves more than any of our other Archangels. What happened in Heaven so long ago scarred him. He hides behind jokes and jests because he does not want to be hurt again.
Reply
[Thor nods a little bit.]
My own brother is much the same. He has been hurt by circumstance and my own attitude in the past. It hardened him, changed him, and he hides behind his own trickery and mischief. It is something I understand well. That is why I am concerned, rather than angered, by your brother.
Reply
[Castiel tilts his head.]
How bad did it become for your brother, before it ended? [In other words, how worried did he had to be about where Gabriel could go?]
Reply
He tried to ravage the world I loved for recompense for the slights dealt against him. He brought an army known as the Chitauri and destroyed much before my friends and I were able to end his war and I took him back to Asgard in chains. Yet I know most of it is my own fault for how I treated him.
Reply
I will not allow my brother to do that. Never.
