[ Desmond wakes up in the hospital, his mind fuzzy on where he is. He looks around and eventually down at himself, seeing his right hand bandaged up rightly and in a sling. Everything aches, but with his good hand, he pushes himself up and takes a moment to listen closely. Everything they have plugged into him keeps him from actually moving out of the bed, but thankfully he honed his skills in eavesdropping thanks to Connor... and Haytham.
Mandalus.
Shit, he's back in Mandalus?! He's not exactly sure if he should be thrilled or dealing with the reality of what that means. Instead he takes notice of the flowers that are in the room and the small note next to the bed. He cringes. Great, Lizzie was angry--and still in Mandalus? How long has he been gone?! He reaches over with his good hand and fumbles around with the phone on the bed stand. ]
