[ This is what Helen always secretly dreaded. With these worlds bringing people back from the dead, she was terrified of the idea that Ashley would one day come. Now, she has, and Helen isn't quite sure what she should do. She wants to run, find her daughter, hold her close and keep anything from happening to her. Except holding her so close is what made her feel as if she had to prove herself; what got her caught and what led to her death. She tried so damn hard to find her daughter alive in some way, some form, but ultimately accepted the fact that there was no way to save Ashley. Ashley had died and Helen had hoped that whatever afterlife there was - if there was any at all - was where Ashley had gone

Mom-

[Wait. Why is her mother on this alien planet too, and why does her head her so much, and why- She took the Source Blood and she teleported to Easter Island and nothing makes sense right now.]

...Mom? What's going on? Why are you here?

I... [ she clears her throat, trying again. ] I've been here for some time, Ashley.

...I just saw you in the lab.

[Caught a glimpse of may be a better description, but she's not going to quibble over language at the moment.]

You can't be telling the truth.

[ Helen lets out a bitter laugh. That was certainly some time ago. ]

Time works differently here. They bring us from wherever and whenever they please.

[ A pause. ] Where are you? At the station?

...I guess that all just adds up to you being...from the future?

[That's got to be why Henry looks older.]

Yeah, some guy's bringing me shoes. He said he was a friend of yours? Ezio Auditore? [Tell her she won't have to fight someone already, Mom.]

Something like that. It's quite a long story.

[ She forces a smile for her daughter. It's difficult, even with the mention of Ezio. ]

He's an ally and a very close friend. I'll be there shortly. Don't leave until I get there.

[She doesn't know where she would go if she left. She's confused about more than the new planet.]

[ Helen ends the call and leans against her desk, gripping on to it tightly. She takes in a few deep breaths to calm herself down. Ashley has arrived in this city with no knowledge of what happens. Steeling herself as much as she can, Helen pushes herself up and makes her way down to the garage. She'll be there soon, Ashley. ]

[After Ezio had brought her a pair of shoes, and she had gotten a little more info about Kaylee so she could thank the girl later for the shoes, Ashley headed for the station's main exit and waited where she could see the doors. Something was off, and it wasn't just the alien planet.]

[ The car pulls up and Helen steps out, turning and looking for her daughter. She finds her almost instantly - after all, how can she ever forget Ashley? It feels as if everything hit her chest at once and ripped her open. She blinks a few times, biting on the inside of her lip to try and hold herself together. Ashley didn't need her mother falling apart at the moment.

Then again, Helen still didn't want to believe it was truly Ashley. That meant that at any moment, she could lose her daughter again. ]

[Ashley nods to her mother, turning away after a moment with the pretense of glancing out the doors at the weather outside. ]

You could have called me to come out. These work like regular phones, right? [It's a safe topic, and having to use it made her fingers itch. But if they're going to have a conversation about the reason her mother is...so uncomfortable.]

...We can talk in the car.

With a few extra things thrown into it. Mandalus is something of a more advanced society than our own. [ Helen nods and motions for Ashley to get in once she's opened the door for her. Then she sits in the drivers seat, closing the door. After the seatbelt is on she puts her hands on the wheel and looks over to Ashley. ]

...Ashley. What was the last thing you remember?

[ Helen takes another deep breath and closes her eyes. ]

The Cabal used the Source Blood on you. Your dormant abnormality was brought to the surface.
