[Ezio had considered calling ahead but that wasn't fun. Instead, he climbs in a side window and strides down the halls, hood up, scarf up around his neck, and a smile on his face the moment he sees Helen. He waits until the young abnormal nearby has finished talking with her before he approaches, a hand sliding over her lower back as he leans in to kiss her without a moment to greet her verbally.
[ The young abnormal eyes Ezio with a wariness, his eyes much more like a cat than a human, before running down the hall. Helen glances up at the older assassin, giving him a playful smirk and returns the kiss. ]
Hello, darling. [ Then she eyes him. ] I don't suppose you bothered to close the window on your way in?
Of course I did. It is snowing outside. [He smirks a little and threads his fingers with hers, looking around the room.] I didn't experience much of Christmas in Aliunde-- is this how it is done in your time?
If you and your brothers refuse to use the door, I'll just have to make sure you're trained in closing the doors. [ Oh yeah, your spiritual ancestor likes the windows too. ] Decorations, lights outside the houses. I'm certain you saw the display Henry set up.
Ah? I presume I'm not the only hooded man to crawl through your windows lately? [He snorts a little at that, nodding.] The display was... colourful, to say the least.
Indeed you're not. I actually caught your spiritual mentor up on my spire a few weeks ago. [ She gives him a pointed look. ] Is it simply normal for the Brotherhood to climb to high places?
That is Henry for you. Wait until he gets the lights to blink in beat to music.
[He laughs at that.] Altair does make a strong first impression on people, no matter how many times he first meets someone. [He nods a little with a shrug.] It is. We find the highest place we can to survey the area.
It was certainly interesting to meet with him properly this time. He's a man of few words. Unlike you. [ She smirks :3 ] I might as well make a perch for all of you up there.
Or as flirtatious. [ She doubts even his grandsons are like him. ] I'll see what I can do. Although, I can't promise much. Spires generally aren't for climbing.
I'm certain he'll want everyone to see it. [ Meaning she'll have to toss him an invitation. ]
Oh, I never break hearts, amore. My father simply didn't have the right woman until my mother.
[He shakes his head a little.] I am not certain. I don't know if either of them particularly likes the holidays. If they wish to decorate the Villa, they can, but tradition for my family was gone after my father and brothers died, so we did not make a point to celebrate Christmas. We just enjoyed the days we had together as best as we could.
Ahh, I see. That's how you put it. [ Helen smiles gently at him. She's glad then, if he is like his father, that he's found Sophia. She's very much aware she is far from "the right woman" for Ezio. ]
You're more than welcome to bring them to the party I'm hosting. Kate will be here, and I imagine she'll try to bring her friends as well. [ Then she holds up her hand. ] Although, I do have something for you.
[ There goes my heart It's an unsaid mutual understanding. Then again, from Helen's perspective, she can't be much of a "right woman" for everyone with her long life. ]
[ That comment makes her laugh. ] I'm fairly certain the two of them are closer than either of them realize. They're young. [ And in love, from what she can tell. At least Kate is head-over-heels for Desmond. ] Of course I do. What sort of anniversary doesn't come with a present, Ezio?
He pulls back and smirks slightly.] Ciao, bella.

He can do that? [...he wants to see.]

Yes. It's his Christmas tradition. [ Ezio why. ]

I look forward to seeing it then.

No doubt, if it is as spectacular as I expect it would be.

Which makes me ask the question, what do you plan to do with your grandsons?

I will extend the offer to them. I am sure Desmond will come, he seems increasingly more fond of Kate. [A raised brow.] You do?
