So that was interesting, huh? I think a lot of us could use a bit of a break, so half-price drinks here at The Roadhouse for a week. Bring a friend.

[Now the camera is picked up and moved to show a very accurately and legibly

[ For the duration of the week Death had not done or said a thing. Of, he certainly observed the on-goings of the people courtesy of the device, but he held no interest in interfering or even bothering to be involved. When everyone was returning to their normal selves however the Horseman was, once again, out and about. And in this case, seated at a table by himself, nursing a drink as he is still debating on what to order. ]

[Perhaps she should have expected this eventually.]

Will you want another drink before you figure out what you want?

Death doesn't bother to look up. Instead he's still reading over the menu. ]

Yes to a refill. And an order of cheese fries for now.

[Jo disappears for a moment to grab the drink to refill his glass and nods.]

It'll be about ten minutes.

[ The menu is set to the side, in favor of the refilled drink, to which he'll take a sip of before speaking up. ]

[ He can be polite to those smaller than him. When he feels like it. ]

[Weird. She disappears for a while and returns eventually with his order.]

[ Wit the hot food sitting before him, the Horseman had taken up a fork and speared one of the fries. Before partaking in the food however, he motioned to Jo for her to take a seat across from him. ]

[...While she'd really rather not, how does one turn down Death if they aren't a Winchester?]

[She takes the seat with a half-grimace.]

[ He'll let her sit there for about a minute without saying a word first, instead favoring the fry that remained on the end of his fork. Taking a bite of it, he chews it silently, before finishing the remaining half of it. It is very important that he try the food first and critique it.

Priorities. Death has them. ]

... Not bad.

[This is surreal.]

It's not hard to make good fries, but thanks?

You would be surprised at how something so simple can be ruined so very easily.

[ Taking another bite of the food, Death looks to her. ]

I take it being alive once more is treating you well?

I came here wounded and not blown into pieces, so as far as I can figure, I wasn't dead.

[It hurt like a bitch, wouldn't it have not hurt if she was? Or something like that?]

So I guess it's treatin' me just fine. [Not really.]

My reaper tells me otherwise. She had to be quick to gather up both you and your mother before the Fourth of July settled in. Made a mess of that building and those hellhounds.

[ Slowly he picks away at the food, pausing only to sip his beverage. ]

And what about being an angel?

[She curls her hands in her lap, forcing herself to take a deep breath.]

That's exactly what we wanted. [Damn it.]

Well, you certainly went out with a bang. Quite the display from what I've been told.

[ And no, don't expect an apology ever from him. ]

The lot of you decided to bring the war here and made an even larger mess.
