[the open feed turns on, showing Sam Winchester sitting on what may look like a throne of used cars]So, it seems that over the last few days, a few frightening images have come across this feed, and I felt that it was time that I come out to ease some of the fears you may have ( Read more... )

Are you really going to try to convince the city that the self-declared King of Hell is their savior and that Angels of the Lord will harm them?

[The sad thing is, she's expecting several of the city to believe it.]

I don't need to convince them of everything. Castiel already did his own damage with his little video and all the dead bodies around him. He should be more careful when using the network like that.

It was a misstep, but those were demons. They'll understand why he did it when you lose control of your 'army'.

Most of those weren't even my demons. The only one here that I even know of is Dean. So your argument, my dear, is invalid.

Unless, you know, you're both suddenly playing God over those who aren't even from our world. Then that is a much graver stance and the city should be defended by your actions.

[Says the man trying to set himself up as ruler.]

They were still demons. We will protect humanity wherever we're sent.

And there is the problem, Joanna.

[yes, he uses it just because he knows it'll piss her off]

You are killing demons because they are demons. Not all demons are evil. Just like not all angels are good. If you don't take the time to stop and actually think of your actions beyond following orders for a God that isn't even there to care, then you are nothing more than another problem to these people. But you lack that capacity, don't you, to think on your own and see beyond the black and white.

[She does not react to the name. She refuses to give this boy king the satisfaction.]

I can see in colors you don't even know exist. We examine all of our actions carefully, and if you think you can dissuade us you're going to be sorely disappointed, Samuel.

[the playful smirk just comes out. He loves having these little tifts with you, Jo]

And yet, not a single one of those humans that were possessed are up and walking, are they. Doesn't sound like you're really seeing the full picture there on protecting humanity.

And it's not my perception that needs to be persuaded. It's the people in this city that you need to convince, and what Cas did? That's pretty hard to explain away.

Calling yourself the King of Hell is better? Do you think the humans don't know that Hell isn't something they want?

[They will prevail. She's done more good than Sam could ever be capable of like this.]

It's just a name and it gets attention. How many people would rather side up to a king of hell as opposed to an unfeeling angel of death.

Plus, at least I offer them hope. Your team is lacking on that at the moment.

[Castiel feels. It's obvious when anyone speaks to him. She knows that.]

Nearly all we have is hope.

Then perhaps, if you want to get people to listen to you, you may want to think about giving that to others, instead of fear. You were human once, after all. Think like one for once, instead of like an angel.

[and he cuts the feed, smirking.]
