action

[Finding her in the street was so easy it was almost pitiful, but he had inhuman advantages. He headed over with a little smirk on his face, a hand resting lightly on her arm as he stepped into her path.]

Hey, Elizabeth. You're in a hurry.

[She skittered back immediately when he came near her, but she knew him. There was that at least.]

Master Dean. [she swept her skirts in a curtsey, her eyes still down.] It's a pleasure to see you.

[He crowds into her space a little, giving her a little smile, something he's sure looks reassuring but probably isn't.]

You got a few minutes to talk?

[She tries to find it reassuring, she does. So much. He's good to her, he's so good. He promised to never hurt her, to protect her, that she could call on him if she ever needed it. She didn't have anyone any more. Her husband was more interested in other men, her son dead. But Dean has promised, he meant his promises, she was sure of it. He was a good man, a righteous man in God's eyes. He said so himself.]

For you? Always.

[he was still too close for comfort. But she swallowed down on it, her shoulders hunching up tightly, still held as a lady did, rigid, stiff, trying to pretend her vulnerability wasn't so open.]

[He grins then, and keeps hold of her arm, leading her down into an alleyway, with his posture as easy and relaxed as it always is. He takes her along with him, until there's no one around, and pushes her up against the wall.]

I wanted to take a minute to thank you, since you're been such a good friend. [He smirks, his eyes turning black as he looks at her.]

[To her credit, she did try to tug away at first. But his grip was strong, too strong for her, a woman that hardly left her chambers as he dragged her along, half tripping on her skirts. Hardly left without her lady, and he was nearly as tall as her father, she couldn't put him much of a fight.]

It's nothing... for truly you've been a good friend in return, it is all I can ask. [she squirming a little still, trying to force away from him, though there was no where to go but against the wall.]

[His grip would be that bit tighter thanks to his demonic abilities, but he doesn't push it that far, not yet.]

Oh, come on, you've been so good to me, I should be good to you too. Or do you only play with archangels? Am I too... dirty for you?

[she freezes, her breath getting shorter. It wasn't that she'd never been over powered by a man. Anjou hit her, sometimes, when she'd been freer with her tongue. Never more than that, but this position was familiar in that regard.]

I -- Dean, there is something wrong with you...? [she swallowed down again, trying to sound calmer.] ... His Grace is very good to me, as are you. It's nothing like that, but I am a married woman, my husband is the Duke of Anjou. Please. [her head turning down, and away from him. Like that would somehow help.]

Something wrong? I guess you could say that. Cas says that sometimes. [He shrugs a bit, and snorts at how she talks about Gabriel.] He's as big a dick as his brother. Has he told you about Lucifer? 'Cause those two are identical peas in one screwed up pod.

[He leans forward, to speak into her ear, his body pressed to hers.] I don't see your husband anywhere in Mandalus, sister, so you and me can have a little fun, right?

It's not my place to comment, for they are angels, and I am a woman who knows her place before her lords. [She's only being nice because she's terrified someone will hear. Anything at all, one single whisper.] He speaks nothing of his family and it is not for me to ask.

[Elizabeth goes back to squirming again, shoving against his chest weakly.] Dean, please. Do not ask me this, you're like a brother to me. I care for you as I do my own, and you said the same. I know you, you're a good man who loves his family.

Angels aren't your lords, Lizzie, they're controlling jerks who want to use me and Sammy. You don't think they're nice when they want us to be puppets, do you?

[He grips her by her jaw, turning her to face him, but he can't quite bring himself to push it too far. She's important to him, in some weird way, in the same way he doesn't kill Castiel, he thinks, but he supposes he may just be going soft sometimes.] Sure, I love my family. That's why I do what Sammy wants me to do. You think he'll be mad if I snap your neck?

You are a man, it is your place to fight, to be strong. So it is my place to do as my lord commands, to bear healthy sons, if it is so willed. [He's talking to the wrong person, she was less than a puppet, for her place was to be subservient. She had learned that, to swallow back on everything.]

[It's tricky to breath like that, her breath catching. She takes one brief look at him with his inky black oils, black like tar, like priests robes and she tries again, to hope he'd let her go.] Dean you're hurting me. Please my lord, please let me go. I've only ever been good to you, I care for you. Does that mean nothing? [she'd seen soldiers kill, knew how easy it was for a neck to snap.]

Wow, could you sound any more weak? It's 2012 here, sweetheart, and women can even vote. [He grins at her, but her begging him to let her go actually manages to shake something in him that's still a little bit human and Dean backs off, sighing and crossing his arms over his chest.]

Begging is one thing, but lying to me that you give a crap is enough to make me rip your lungs out. [He clenches his jaw.] The only person who cares is Sam. Even Cas and Jo just wanna cleanse me so they can throw me to their brother to use as a chewtoy. Just... [He growls through gritted teeth.] Just get out of my way!

I am as I was raised and is as pleases my father and then my husband. [The second he lets go, she crumbles down, into a shaking pile of skirts, crying from something like fear, something like relief. Her long red hair falling back about her, hiding her away as much as she could, and she wrapped her arms around her.]

I would not lie, I meant what I said, m-my lord. You are good to me, I always remember when people are good to me. [she cringed at the growl, curling in tightly around herself.] Please, you remind me so much of my brother, I love my brother, and my sister...

[Dean sinks to his knees, his hand coming to her jaw again, and he glares down at her with severity and viciousness. He wants to believe, because something in him is still so inherently human, but he is so far gone he is sure that she is lying. The only person who loves him is Sam, it's why he obeys his twisted little brother, that and he has a level of fear he'll never admit to. Sam is terrifying, and he is the fuel to Sam's fire.]

You think this is being good to you? I'm a demon, Elizabeth. We are not nice, even if we pretend to be. You're lying, I lie so I know how to tell a lie. You're lying 'cause no one ever gave a crap about me but Sam.

[She didn't say anything at all then, just reached for him, like she always did, bracing a hand on the side of his face. It sounds so pathetic, but she already is, she can't even pretend anymore. Just trembling and breath hitching on swallowed down sobs. Her voice so tired and strained, so much of a woman long gone past caring any more.]

Dean I know you wouldn't hurt me. Please believe that about yourself if you won't believe me. P-Please.
