[Ezio is already prepared to speak to Desmond about how disappointing it is that their brother doesn't remember them, because that much is obvious enough from the first instance, but he doesn't let it get to him. Instead, he takes in the names and notes them away for later on.]
This is Mandalus. I am afraid you have been brought here to aid in fighting a war. [A long pause and a faint sigh.] Salute Altaïr. I am Ezio Auditore, a... brother.
To the point, are you not. [His response is strung with tension, on edge because it has been so long since he has seen... 'another', it is strange.] What sort of war requires my services, exactly?
I see no point in being delicate about it. [He shakes his head faintly.] One that is said to threaten all of our worlds. Mandalus is... the core to the universe, or so it is said. If this world falls, all of our worlds will be destroyed.
We know for certain there is war, and that it is very much a problem for all of us, but there is no definitive proof that this world affects others, nor that it doesn't. Our proof is that we are here, from many worlds.
Supposedly so. Anything else remains to be seen, as it is.
[He sighs at that.] A lot of bickering, amongst everyone. There is an army, they are well prepared, and there seem to be scientists at work. As for us, we have our own work we are doing.
That is always the case, is it not? [He clears his throat, and remains quiet upon listening.] I take it then, that you are the one in charge of basic planning? If so, point me in a direction, allow me to help in this.
It seems so. [He nods slightly.] Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way. I will send you directions to our current base of operations, and you can join me there. [He sends the address and directions they'll show up on your mini-map]
[Ezio will just leave the front door ajar, but he doubts that Altair will bother with the door. He half expects an assassin down the chimney, but it's best not to think too much on it. He'll just wait for him.]
[Maybe a window? If there is a window, to say the least. Regardless, his entrance is not through the front door, nor the chimney, but he is approaching the other, needless to say.]
This is the Villa Auditore. It is my home, established by my great grandfather.
[He gestures for Altair to follow him.] This is merely the entrance hall. The study is where I believe we can speak better. [But he stops after a second and curses under his breath. The codex wall. He has to explain, offer him the chance to avoid it, so he turns, holding up a hand to pause them.]
Ah... I do not know whether you would wish to see something in there, however. I am from the year 1512. By this time, we have a journal of yours -- a codex -- and it's pages are on display in the study. As a warning, in case you do not wish to see it.
He must have been a great man. [Following after, matching his pace, he looks around at the area, before stopping at the gesture and raising a brow. His face twists in confusion.]
A journal? I am not aware of anything of this sort. Perhaps it is for the best I do not see it, at this point.

Safety and peace.

And to you, Altair. [He moves to close the door he'd left open and turns to Altair, offering his hand in greeting.]

Where do we stand?
