[ Severus Apparates just outside the gate (better safe than sorry as the Sanctuary's security systems might be completely back), pausing to take in what's before him. Well, his wards held nicely, as he knew they would. But it's a shame there's so much other damage. He spots a familiar figure in the distance amongst the rubble and he makes his way toward her. ]

[ Helen sighs to herself. The biggest part of this will be finding the money. She hardly has the amount in Mandalus that she does back home. She shakes her head to herself. They'll have to have a meeting about this once the systems were fully online. ]

[ His approach isn't stealthy at all, not that he's making any effort to be with stepping over and on chunks of the buildings. He'd rather not startle her anyway. They've all had enough of that recently, one gruesome surprise after another. ] I had suspected there would be an attack, though not to this extent. I only just finished as the first group of minions on foot came by.

I apologize that I could not do more. [ Maybe if there had been several from his world to set everything up. ]

[ She smiles a bit, looking around and gesturing to it. Honestly, she's entirely over whelmed by it all. Where can she start? ]

They may be overqualified to fix my home considering they would be coming from here. [ Heh. aka thanks bro.

Ah. Well ... ] Perhaps in order of necessity? [ He doesn't have any idea either. It's overwhelming just standing in the rubble with her. ]

Overqualified is far better than under-qualified.

It shouldn't take too long to fix the Sanctuary. The labs are undamaged and the residential area is in fair shape.

That is a very good point.

[ He gets his wand out of his sleeve, holding it as he taps the tip against his free palm. Hmmmm. ] How fair is 'fair shape'? [ Maybe he can help clear some things there. And he honestly doesn't know what shape they're really in as she didn't get a look again once his wards went up and he had to go. Too hard to move around without leading anyone back. ]

[ Helen looks at him and the wand with a slightly raised eyebrow. Truth be told, she hasn't ever quite seen his magic in action. Not to mention she does try to keep an open mind about it at all. ]

Nothing in the Shoe got out, thankfully. Though I think a few abnormals escaped up through the damaged chapel. We'll have to send recovery teams out once our systems are back online.

[ He's not planning on doing any spells until he gets a better idea of where to really start. But he doesn't have a problem with doing magic in front of Helen. He's gotten used to the air of skepticism from others, though she is far more open than the majority. ]

Thankfully. It shouldn't be too difficult to round them up again. Your teams are quite skilled.

Unfortunately, while we are quite skilled, we're also stretched very thin. Repairing the Sanctuary is a priority, but I'll have to bounce between that and regathering the abnormals.

[ He's getting a bit restless standing there when there's so much to do, even if they don't have a plan on what to do first. But what he can do is secure the jagged opening to a building near them and start to move away some of the rubble into a pile. They can poke around easier. Or so he figures. The spell is simple to levitate and move the pieces, no matter their size, so he's resorting to silent spellcasting. Talk and move building bits :|b ]

If you would like my assistance, or just a strong cup of tea, I wouldn't object. [ Really. His repairs between home and the WIP shop are easy peasy compared to this mess. And he doesn't need to hunt anything down. ]

It would be greatly appreciated. [ Helen gives him a thankful smile. ] I lack the funds that I have at home. It's going to be quite difficult for a few months here. And that isn't even including whatever else might happen in this bloody city.

Then you shall have it. [ He gives her a bit of a smile in return, which doesn't even slow his rubble stacking. ] That is all entirely true. Though my funds are far less in comparison even I feel their loss and have resorted to various workarounds. May nothing major happen for at least a couple weeks.

[ Oh, Helen has known him long enough to know when a proper smile is from Severus. ] I simply haven't invested in anything here in Mandalus outside the Sanctuary. It's something I'm going to need to quickly fix.
