[ Though he generally seems to prefer voice, this time he'll opt for video so that all of you in Old Town know exactly who is behind this. At first, his tone is a mixture of amused and thoughtful, and he starts off musing aloud. ]Interesting how fate has a way of following us. Perhaps we are simply bound to be cast into the same roles repeatedly ( Read more... )

Oh good, someone else who almost sounds as ridiculous as Praenuntius. You need to be a bit more dramatic, you're missing some of his obnoxious old-timey flair.

Ah, but doesn't action speak louder than words? You'll have your dramatics soon enough.

Why don't you put those actions to good use then and use this as an opportunity to hunt down our oh so gracious hosts so we can go home.

They seem adamant that unless this war is won, there will be no homes to return to. I trust you heeded their warnings and prepared accordingly?

[ There's a hint of amusement there that implies that you probably didn't prepare accordingly. Tsk. ]

And you actually believe them?

[He prepared well enough, dammit. It's not his fault he can't access Iron Man right now.]

Heh. Would it really change anything whether or not I did?

At the very least, they certainly believe it, and I doubt that they're about to be persuaded otherwise. [ If they were, you would have already persuaded them he's sure, as good as you are with words and all. ]

As for me, I believe that it is clear that this war exists, which presents a much more imminent problem, wouldn't you agree?

[ WHAT ABOUT PLAN B. ]

[They are unfortunately immune to Tony's silver tongue. It's sad. :c]

Oh good, so you're gathering all the soldiers together and sending them on home? How kind of you. That'd certainly stop this war in its tracks.

[HA GOOD JOKE. ONE PLAN IS ENOUGH.]

[ That is sad! :c We're all doomed. ]

Tsk. Just a moment ago, you were looking for dramatics. There seems to be no pleasing you.

[ YEAH UNTIL THAT PLAN FAILS. ]

Naw, I'm pretty easy to please if you know what you're doing. You, however, are being a huge pain in the butt. And not in a good way.

My sincerest apologies in regards to your, ah, butt. [ See, he can be reasonable. ]

But if you assume I am behind everything that has happened, you are sorely mistaken. Sending you or these soldiers back where you came from is not within my power, so again I suggest you focus on the problems at hand. I'm sure they'll be more than enough to keep you... hn, occupied.

[The sincerity seems kind of forced. Nice try though.]

Oh, no worries, I'd never mistake you for the mastermind behind all of this. You feel more like somebody lackey. Sidekick? Do villains have sidekicks or just minions.
