[ Helen is honestly amused at the display of trying to help the public, but, she's also not entirely sure if it's a good idea to be calling out the local police. Especially when their job does entail a bit more than just rounding up criminals. Then again, the costumed man does seem young. ]

Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It's certainly quite a title you've given yourself. [ She just shakes her head. Children. ] And how often do you plan on going about doing the police's job?

[If he wasn't wearing a mask, Helen would see the utterly cheek-splitting grin he has on his face.]

Well, it's truth in advertising, lady, I can't lie to the public. [He chuckles a bit.] As long as I have to, when there are jerks like that on the scene. Someone's gotta deal with them, and since I heard 'em, it's my job.

There's no good that comes from lying. Concealing the truth, maybe, but lying outright... well, I've found that'll get folks hurt, and I'm not about to let that happen again. [He shrugs, the phone held in one hand as he starts to run across the rooftops in the business district, webbing onto a higher up building and starting to climb the wall of it, one handed.]

The police complain because it means more paperwork for 'em. It'd be nice if they could appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to make a costume like this and go about doing their job for them. I only do the things they'd be wasting time on, time better spent on big criminals.

[ Natasha stares at him for a long, long, long time before responding, head tilted to the side. She's kept her face neutral, but there is a knowing glint in her eyes.

Exactly! Plus, you know, he's a big old target for everyone since the guy has no idea how to even try to hide his identity, so the rest of us can get some work done while he's dealing with the big stuff.

It's cool, man, no big deal. I... don't actually get that a lot. Usually "public menace!" or "masked vigilante!". Nice change of pace, actually.

[Oh wow, that getup. Tony's trying really hard not to laugh here.] Please tell me that's not spandex.

No way, man. It's a breathable spandex-like material, keeps me warm when it's cold, cool when it's warm, and no loose parts to strangle me when I'm working.

And don't even say a word - The Iron Man suits have fitted waists, pal, you can't say anything.

[Tony snorts and rolls his eyes.] I'm not concerned if you're looking fashionable. Spandex would tear in a heartbeat, it's absolute shit as protection. How durable is what you're wearing?

[He suspects Tony is still going to mock him, but he's okay with it. It's Tony Stark, after all.] It's pretty durable, not as good as I'd like it to be, since I can still take bullets and the Lizard still clawed it open on my chest, but the usual wear and tear is no big deal.

[A shrug.] I try not to get hit, anyway, and I'm actually pretty good at that part.
