[ Will Zimmerman appears to be sitting behind a desk, donning his glasses as he glances at papers in front of him, before glancing up at the screen.
He doesn't seem too thrilled by whatever he is about to propose but: ]
Mandalus. Ugh, for all of you who don't know me, my name is Dr. Will Zimmerman. [ A beat. ] I'm a psychologist. Under some

[ Helen walks up to the doorway of Will's office and knocks on the door. The festival is still underway, but, she's already done the rounds of the day to make sure there's been no more abnormal sightings. Now it's time to get back to work with the Sanctuary. She smiles at Will. ]
Do you have a moment?

'Course. [ brows draw closer together in a light question. ] What's going on?

I'm inviting someone over to the Sanctuary once things calm down a tad. She's someone who could use our help, but she's rather... hesitant about the idea. [ Not that Helen blames Raven at all. ]

Oh? [ He's...gotten surprisingly used to the fact that she's finding more and more people to welcome into the Sanctuary. Which is, essentially, it's purpose, he remind himself.
So he nods. ] Who is she? [ A beat. ] She's hesitant about accepting your - our - help, or just coming here?

Advisement, huh? Was it the boss lady's way of saying you need to keep busy when you're not busy with Sanctuary business?
[That is a lot of business.]

[ a beat. ] I offered this idea as a joke, actually. [ guess that's what he gets for not being known for having much of a sense of humor. ]

You? Joke? [She snorts.] No wonder she thought you were serious.

Promising anonymity, William? Should you be reaching so high?

Well, why not?

[Tesla can't solve everyone's problems.]

[ there's a shrug. ] So sometimes reaching high isn't always a bad thing.

Don't strain yourself to talk to me, Will, I wouldn't want you to pull something. [He shakes his head faintly.] I know who you are, and yes, I'm the liaison with the police. Did you need something?

[ A beat, and it's his turn to offer a light shake of his head. ] No, nothing in particular. Dr. Magnus suggested that we'd come in direct contact, "just in case". [ God, he actually hated when she used that term. Though it was more like "just in case I'm not around", which was doubly unsettling. ]
And. Let me know I can be of any help to the police here. [ Dryly, as an explanation. ] I've worked as a forensic psychiatrist before, if that would at all be needed.

Alright, then we've had direct contact. If something comes up, let me know. [He's not fond of dealing with this whole "I have issues with police" situation, it just gets really old really fast.]
I think we'll be fine, but if anything happens that would require your... expertise, I'll be in contact.

[ Seems slightly amused, having caught the hesitation behind the offer. ]
It sounds as though you think listening would be just as pointless.
Reply
[ so his response mirrors amusement, though with light strain. ] It doesn't matter what I think. People talk, I listen. I'm not here to determine if that helps someone else, or not.

Forgive me. I have yet to meet a doctor that was sincere, let alone trustworthy. [ A short laugh, but it sounds more like an amused explanation than an accusatory statement. ]
