YAY!!
It's really nice living in a place where things get done!! if you followed all the crap that went on with our old apartments, you understand why this makes me so happy...
I called the apartment office 2 days ago because our freezer was leaking, and they brought us a new fridge today( well, new to us anyway. it came from a vacant apartment) . We'd been having problems with our fridge 'cause we were missing a bottom shelf, and they couldn't find one to fit. so, when we said the freezer was leaking too, they decided just to get rid of our old fridge. It was just nice to have it done so quickly. I guess i had just gotten use to having to fight to get anything done at our old place. So, yay for managers that get things done! ;)
heehee...and i never thought i was one of those people that strangers tell things to, but i guess i am. while they were moving the fridge in, Randy (one of the managers) started telling me all about his last two marriages and why they didn't work out. Last time, he came over (to put in a door stop) he told me all about getting hit by a car 30 years ago. I don't mind. he's a nice guy, but i just found it interesting that he was so open with me.
