AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!
we've been fight with our landlord to get the faucet in the tub fixed (it's got a nice hot water trickle) for about four months. we talked to everyone we could and finally got the plumber over.turns out we need the whole valve replaced, but he had to talk to our neighbor (we live in a fourplex) because to get to our pipes we have to go through their wall. they were assuming there was an access wall. we finally get it to where she'll be home when the plumber is free. and guess what?? No access wall! our pipes are back to back, apparently. so, to fix our valve, they have to tear into our tub-surround. so, the plumber is going to talk to our landlord and get it set up to have a tub-surround guy there when he replaces our valve. so, we can get the valve and the tub-surround fixed in the same day. i don't know when this is going to happen,but i better be soon 'cause i'm getting tired of dealing with this. geesh!
...and on top of that, we kinda have two landlords. there's Mark, the slumlord who takes care of all the multi-family properties (like us). then, there's Mike, the Good One who generally just deals with the single family properties. i didn't know about Mike until Mark gave me his number. Mark won't do shit for us, but Mike actually gets things done the same day you call him or a soon as it can be done. we started out dealing with Mark with the whole tub situation, but finally found out about Mike. then, things started getting done. yay for having a second person to deal with, but boo for having a slumlord who's supposed to be in charge.
so, i'm having issues with the apartment right now. grr...but things are starting to get done, i guess.
