This morning, on my commute to work, the water in my bottle froze. That's how cold it was, and it will eventually get cooler. Gulp.
My pearl izumi gloves, rated for 20 to 40 degree temps, as well as a balaclava, arrived in the mail the day before. I tested them out. The gloves felt great, the balaclava not so much. I prefer my felt face mask and cycling cap. I also have a thermal cycling cap on the way. Now I just need to order leg warmers that fit. I am slowly acclimating to riding in cold temperatures as well as acquiring the right gear for riding in said temps. I also need more black jeans.
Sold the dura ace stages today. Made a $100 profit. I hope I can sell more stuff because I have a lot of things I need to get. And pay off my credit card debt (it's substantial).
