Goodness do I feel old. I was subbing for an eighth grade math class today and the last class was the smart kids, naturally they got done with their homework before the period ended and instead of making them stare at each other, when everyone was done I let them talk. Aren't I nice? Yeah, that's what I thought. Regardless, when I sub I overhear really interesting conversations...none of the students really care what they say around me (other than what will get them into trouble), so they're all loud and obnoxious and I've learned not to care. Today one of the groups was talking about your mom jokes - and one of the specialer ones was "your mom is so fat that when she stps on the scale she thinks its her zipcode 90210" Not much sense, but they're 13. They then proceeded to explain the joke, and discuss how 90210 is a zipcode from a TV show, debating for at least two minutes what TV show -- deciding finally that it's a cop show...
