So, for those of you who have been around me in the last few weeks know that my life has been dedicated to finding out who's going to advance in the World Cup. (I'm seriously rooting for England now that the US has been ousted!) Today, Germay beat Argentina (this was saddening to me because I wanted to prove to my Dad that Germany could be beaten on their own soil!). So, now I have high hopes for Italy beating the Ukraine (no offense to the Ukranian people/players) so that hopefully they can kick Germany's can! Then tomorrow I hope England beats some Portuguese butt! And that France gets beat by Brazil.. b/c that would set up an awesome Semifinal game against England and Brazil!! WHOO HOO!! So any way... go ENGLAND!!!!
This morning Heather and I were awakened at 7:30 by the screaming of a person seemingly right outside the window...Heather jumped out of bed to go see if they were okay, and found my Uncle, my Dad, and several other people trying to convince the guy to have an ambulance come (he's got something wrong with his foot, and has fallen several times..) Dad told Heather to go back inside...so we got up..mostly because Dad had said the guy liked to drink..that and we were kinda ticked off because he had woken us for no reason! So somebody called the cops (apparently he'd been screaming all night long) and they escorted him back to his apartment...along with his crutches...so it's been a long day...
Oh, today Heather and I took a trip to Yorktown (actually to the cornfields south of Yorktown) to make sure her bridesmaid dress fit, and then we went to the Muncie Mall (which made me incredibly happy to have gone to Purdue b/c there is so much more to do there!) and it kinda sucked (no offense to my BSU buddies), but Heather bought me a tank top at Old Navy...Then we detoured through Fairmount on our way home (for those of you who don't know, Fairmount, IN is where James Dean is from and is buried at.) We went to the historical society and saw some cool artifacts that they had...then we went to the cemetery where he is buried and got pics of is headstone (which is covered in lipstick). It wasn't that flashy, but then Fairmount wouldn't want something flashy for one of their famed sons (one of the others being Jim Davis i.e. Garfield's creator). Then we went to see this bust of him in a "park" (which was actually like a little walkway) and it was crazy lookin....he didn't have any eyes.
Then tonight we're supposed to go see Nacho Libre with our cousin Cole, but as of this moment we're not sure if he's going to ditch us to go to the Haynes Apperson Festival...short man...hopefully he comes...kinda sick of Dad at the moment...he's kinda acting like a little kid...but that's another story...until next time!
