(no subject)
wow.. this weekend has truly been indescribable. i have been a rollercoaster of emotions since 10:30 friday morning. while waiting in line with kristy and janel to get our cap and gown, i learned that a very close middle school friend, todd peurifoy, had killed himself. granted, i have not seen todd since he moved to mississippi in 10th grade and have only talked online a few times since, but i cannot understand why he would do such a thing. it has been difficult for me and i haven't seen him in 2 years. my thoughts and prayers go out to todd's family. also, to the clark family because i know that their families were very close. i would never wish this on anyone, ever. God works in mysterious ways. one day, we will know why this happened. until then, we just have to have faith that we will get through this.
friday night, i had to put on a happy face at the bcs prom. i have to admit, it was very fun. no throw up so that's always a plus. jordan asked me if it was going to be like last year with ben and i said i sure hope not! it was a blast and i realized i had nothing to be nervous about. everyone looked soo cute! of course, pictures to come.
saturday, i went to see monster-in-law, very good by the way. i also lost my keys. everyone saw them on the counter the night before, and ryan even saw them that morning, but now they are absolutely NO WHERE to be found. kara's bday party started at applebees and was supposed to move to the bowling alley, but i suggested joyland. little did we know, the best girls night ever was soon to occur. props to janel and kady for looking very 18. we walked in and got all kinds of stares. i felt sooo out of place. until we got on the dance floor. i started doing the electric slide and got all the girls to do it. and then people were coming from their tables to join us. soon the whole dance floor was filled! we learned a lot of line dances and had fun dancing with random goofy guys! i can't wait to go back girls.
