Really has to be said that anyone that flies INTO a hurricane has to have some type of problems...
so yes..I'm admitting I have problems. :-)
Saturday - went out to Bennigans with everybody and I must say that we looked awfully hot. Will have pictures soon..well..as soon as I get the money to develop them, which may be as quick as tomorrow, but may be as far as next week. We'll soon see. :)
Sunday - flew down into the damn hurricane, and drove around Florida and it was freaking hot. Found out the cruise was cancelled, and we could get into another cruise if we called fast.
Monday - decided that the worst part about surviving a hurricane is the lack of water and electricity. Forgot that in my grand adventure there was a good chance that one or both would be severely lacking. It was both. Booked on the other cruise, which was 3 hours away in Port Canaveral. HOWEVER...had no way to get there, as the airport was closed due to lack of power, and with the airport...the car rentals.
Tuesday - rented the last van from a place with no power, and drove the 3 hours to Port....the damage down in Florida is unreal. Boarded the boat and immediately ran to the shower as I had not had one since Saturday.
Wednesday - Nassau and had fun dealing with people in the marketplace and buying things. I must say that my Prada bag is very nice, and sincerely does not look like a fake at all......although we all know it is. :-) Met a very nice boy.
Thursday - Coco Cay was very nice and my one day to actually get a tan..however....it was cloudy. Which sucked. I did however go parasailing which was fantastic even though I'm afraid of heights.
Friday - got off the boat and decided we wanted to go to Disney because we were off the boat early. So we went to Disney and shopped Friday night and swam.
Saturday - went to the Magic Kingdom and figured out how much I love Disney, even if it does make me a geek. So there...drove back to Ft. Lauderdale only to find out that our hotel that we were booked at still did not have power, got the last room in a hotel, and I slept on the floor.
Sunday - went to the airport, got on an earlier flight, came home, got to see my roomates and watched a very intense episode of Grey's Anatomy.
I need to study.
