You know what, I don't think I would fill anyone in.
I've been keeping so many random journals and ranting and raving so much over the years that I'd have to have a week long talk with a new friend just to get them in-the-know. I would direct my friendly reader to the rest of the journal locations, but I honestly just prefer to let the words speak for themselves and say this about them:
If they seem mean or harsh, well I was probably pretty upset. If there seem to be a couple of jumps from loving boys to hating them immediately--well just remember that I was in high school for parts of this thing. If there seem to be quite a few unfinished endeavors, just remember that this is the friend you are asking to have.

I have been looking for a church for a while now. And by "looking" I mean talking to my friends who go to church and debating inside myself about going, (or) googling different churches and checking out their archaic websites, then getting distracted and googling random religious words to learn their origins.
Well, look, I think I found a place to try. I mean, I'll probably not be able to walk in the door in the first place, but it seems like a place I'd like to be. It's a non-denominational church, which I am personally all about. I dislike the divisions of denominations beacsue, frankly, I can't tell who-is-what-or-how-they-believe. People spend so much time focused on what makes them different from other Christians that they practically overlook what makes us all the same.
It's come-as-you-are (tattoos, jeans, whatever), which I think is very important because I'm not all about people putting on a church show. It's one thing to look clean and decent out of respect to the church and God--it is a whole other situation to have a fashion show and to be judged by people that are supposed to be spending their time seeking God.
It's very non-traditional, but Bible based. I like non-traditional, but I always end up feeling like they take God out of church too much in an effort to be seeker-friendly and non-offensive/non-confrontational. That kind of hurts my feelings. But this particular church is still very much Christian and not afraid to say God out loud.
ALSO: There is a church blog and the Lead Pastor updates regularly--often in conjunction with his sermon! I like the way he writes and the things he has to say. My own questions have been addressed, as well as things I had never thought of. He even wrote an entry about whether or not animals go to Heaven. It was much longer than this, but to sum it up: Your dog Fido won't be there, but you might befriend a new dog in Heaven...After all, God did create animals from the get-go so why wouldn't He put them in Heaven too!?
Anyway...Alright.
I am pretty excited about it....although I may vomit in their parking lot.
