Guess what I did yesterday? I went to a gorge! My first gorge trip, wooohoooo!!! I did not enjoy the hiking part though. Ah well, I better get used to it if I am to live on this hill for the next four years. Anyways, today I have been doing mostly homework, so that hasn't been the best, but it's not too bad. I went to brunch and discovered they have starbucks drinks on campus here, so that was tres exciting. Downside of my day - the bookstore was closed.
I would like to take a moment to discuss with you the extreme power a certain Rufus Wainwright has over me. I simply cannot listen to any other music, it's just not gorgeous enough, it's like a virus I have contracted, but a good one. I don't know what it is about this stuff, but I just do not want to listen to anything else, and I have talked to some others of you who have the same problem, if you can call if a problem. Ah well, I enjoy it, so I guess it's not a bad thing. I just fear that I will become obsessed and stalk him or something. Heh heh heh.
Anyhow, I don't have much else to write, I talk to you all online and on the phone plenty. I am having a good time, I enjoy my classes, this place is beautiful, and the people here are quite nice. I miss you all though, keep calling/IMing me, and write me letters! (p.s. Autumn and Amanda, I greatly enjoyed the strange yet adorable drawings/letters you sent me, they are tacked onto my bulletin board for all to ponder, thank you so much).
OOooo I almost forgot, next Saturday I am auditioning for this amazing coed acapella group that does contemp songs, so wish me luck, I will need it.
