earlier today i was happy to read that julio mentioned elliot smith.
about an hour ago i read that elliot smith died.
that is just the tip of the iceberg of why this day sucked. but right now, my brother and his wife are coming home to discover a lobster dinner has been shipped overnight from Portland, Maine. complete with cheesecake and everything. it's great to think of the perfect gift.
