An eventful first week... to say the least

Well, I am on my 5th night here at the house. It has been good. We got a visit from Bradley, and we met our neighbor, Martin, who is a really nice guy, I met about 50 thousand different people last night because it was m roommate, Corey's, birthday, so many of her friends came over. I have liked everyone so far that I have met, and my roommates are all really great! I am sad that Ashley had to go to Texas for the next week, but I start work back at the bucks on Monday, so time should go by fast. I got to see Whitney, George, Patrick, Daniel, Megan and Sarah M last night, which was really nice. It now really feels like college, like this is what it is supposed to be about. And for the first time, I feel that I semi-understand the saying that this is the best time of your life.

Ginger is having kidney failure. It is really sad. She can't hold down any food and she throws up all the time. They don't know what has caused it, so there is nothing that we can do except hope for a miracle. It is really, really sad. I went home earlier today and I just layed on the floor with her and I started crying. I hope she just suddenly gets better, but she probably wont. 7 years is semi-old for a dog... right? Oh well.

Katie got into another accident last night. A drunk driver hit her. She has a broken hand and possibly a broken wrist. The guy came flying down a hill, and so she slowed down almost to a stop, but couldn't pull over due to the parked cars on the street and he struck her front left panel almost head on. And so she got out of her car and then started panicing when she realized that he was trying to leave the scene (too bad his car was too messed up to run after that!) So he, and he 2 buddies get out of the car and take off. Then, the witnesses (this happened on oxford, where there are a lot of duplexes) ran after them and tackled them. Not only were they drunk, but they had no license or insurance. AND they were illegal Mexicans. Nice huh? And because of the stupid system we have, we have to take them to court where even if they have to pay us money, we will probably never see it.
