Okay, so I'm a fairly liberal girl, right?
This last week at my university (University of Texas at San Antonio), there was this humongous 18 ft. tall billboard put up by the pro-lifers. It showed pictures of dead fetuses, Holocaust (sp?) victims, among other things, such as a man in the electric chair.
I find this highly offensive and agree with the article I just read in the paper about it infringing on my personal rights. This goes right along side with them harrassing women and doctors going in and out of clinics.
They also dare to compare abortion being legal to slavery being legal. However, I feel a more accurate comparison is when slavery was made illegal = abortion being declared legal. It feels to me that both were setting people free.
ARGH. People piss me off sometimes.
