loneliness is the worst feeling on the planet...
i had to go to a wedding tonight. it was nice, but then came the reception. a lot of the people that were there were folks i went to high school with. i hated my high school experience. it took me forever to fit in and i hated it. needless to say, i really didn't feel comfy being around all those people again.
then one of the girls that was super mean to me in hs was working as part of the catering crew. she spoke to me and we talked for a few minutes but then she had to get back to work. i thought, "ok, maybe this won't be too bad."
boy was i wrong.
no one talked to me, and the ones i tried to talk to ran away from me. what's so unappealing about me? am i THAT hideous looking that no one wants to talk to me? am i boring?
then a close friend of mine absolutely IGNORED me. this person has done it a lot over the summer and it's really starting to bug me. i really used to value this person as a friend but if they won't reciprocate that feeling, then i guess our friendship wasn't anything to begin with.
