HELP?!
I have to attend a "cultural event" before the end of this month for my Multicultural class... and I'm totally at a loss. Thus far, my suggestions have been as follows:
"Fabulous" Bingo- PGHs gay community bingo party (I can't make any of their dates because of classes)
Any of the numerous Black History Month events- (Obviously too late for that)
A reenactment- (I'm still technically a member of that "culture" and prof won't count it.)
St. Patty's day in PGH- (Everyone's Irish, so that doesn't count either)
Dyngus Day in Buffalo- Post-Easter Polish celebration. (Great idea, if I can get the day off work ... there's no class, but I'd need off of work that day and Tuesday... and I've already taken off 4 days this month)
Scientology Center- There's apparently a center in PGH. (They scare me, and I won't do it alone.)
That being said, I NEED SUGGESTIONS! Please?
also- I really, really, really want to go to see BODIES... The Exhibition before it leaves Pittsburgh. And what sort of self-respecting art student lives this close to Fallingwater and doesn't go see it. Kentuck Knob isn't far, either. Anyone care to join me one of these days?
