I'm about to brawl with my Dad.
He calls me today out of the blue (we don't talk that often) sounding all confrontational and wanting to know what's going on with my car and what am I going to do now that my lease is up. So I explain to him that I went to the dealership yesterday test drove the Patriot got the lease prices on the Patriot and the Liberty. He pretty much lets me know that leasing isn't acceptable, it's too expensive, I should buy a car. I explain to him that I'm not ready to make such a huge decision like buying a car that I'm going to have for god knows how long.
I'm still in school I will be until December at least, I don't know where I'm going to be living next year, I don't know what I'm going to be doing. Why am I going to buy a car that I'm not even sure I'm going to need at this time next year, at least if I'm leasing I can be stuck with that car for an extra year than I need it and then it's done.
And who is he to tell me what I can and can not do with MY money. And it's not even like he's suggesting that I not lease a car, he's telling me I'm not going to.
