The guy seems to feel like a fucking rebel when he says all this shit. To me, he is just preaching to the choir.

Well, the guy was a famous stand-up comedian; this piece he actually performed in HBO,
so he is by no means a rebel as in "rebel". But, he touched a lot of issues that were sort
of borderline (including religion -- you're gonna like it) and "reserved" for people like him.
