[concert report] travis japan live house 05.21.13

REMINDER: I won't put that much info on every song because I'm kinda in a rush and there just wasn't anything important in those parts (I suck I know) but I'll try to be specific! Um I'll try not to put too much of my personal comments because then I'd just be sounding insane, but let me just say that it was probably my favorite concert ever.
REMINDER2: I'll shortcut their names like this-- A-Aran, K-Kaji, M-Miyachika, N-Nakamura, S-Shizuya
So first let me explain how the venue was. Basically it was a small place with only 22 rows (27 seats in one row) with a gap between rows 11 and 12 (they placed a stand for traja to sing in there). There was also a few balcony(?) seats where Travis and other guests sat. So it only accommodates about 600 people. I was in the 7th row (plus the seat next to pathway where traja walked lots of times and I got to high-five them all except for kaji) and was reallyyyyyyyy close to the stage. Yep it was heaven.
One other great part about the venue being that small was when it was 5 minutes before the concert, I heard Traja in the back saying "おーーー！" and the audience all went omg it's starting it's starting /brings out mirror (/so did I)
Shelter
Best choice to start the concert. Really. It could have made the fans cry I swear.
They appeared with black(?) pants, red jackets and a white shirt under it. In the middle of the song they introduced themselves. The dance was just like in Shokura/SUMMARY.
N: My nickname is うみんちゅ(Uminchu), Nakamura Kaito desu!
A: Iru! Oran! Aran! Abe Aran desu!
M: Miyachika Kaito desu!
K: まいど！Kajiyama deeeesu. (*maido=greeting that means something like "thank you for always coming")

NEWS' song. M introduces the song saying "It's almost summer! It's going to get hot but let's enjoy it~"
The dance was soooooooo adorable. Like, they make their hands have this wave-ish movement while they dance backwards I know I suck at expressing these kind of things I'm sorry. But still, one of the best songs in the whole concert and I though this was the most Traja-ish song.

This part was more of a game where members each say a munekyun sentence for each weekday.
K: Monday! Mornings are tough, but let's go to school together?
A: GOODBYE!!
S: Tuesday! Chuu(=kiss) me?

N: Wednesday! I wonder what's for lunch~
M: NEXT!
N: ThUrSdAy (*his voice cracked and really sounded like this oh god this 16 year old)
(audience and traja laugh like crazy)
M: Oiiii! (laughs) That's unfair (laughs) NEXT!
(M was supposed to say something, but yeah, Uminchu made it his own lol)
A: Friday! Wanna go on a date~?
audience: fuuuuu~~~~~~
Troublemaker
They imitated Arashi's dance and all lined up, placed their hands on the shoulders of the person beside them, and moved their shoulders. They ask the fans to put down their uchiwas and dance along for the chorus. It was easy and they were really good at instructing!
Ashita e Mukatte
(if i remember correctly) this is where they go to the stand in between rows 11&12.
They pass the audience and high-fived them♥
Crazy Accel
The dance was brilliant, it showed that they tried to match Ebi's level. They did acrobatic stuff but not too tough ones. From my seat I saw Shizuya's stomach lolol
Loveless
A R&B kind of song by Yamapi. The only slow song in the whole concert actually.
Of course, there is choreography. It was also brilliant in this song. Everyone's facial expression and the way the danced matched it so well.
Love Yourself
SOLO DANCE (Asia no Yoru)
AnY was more of background music to their dancing, so there was no singing. Kaji introduced each member. They were all so flawless but Miyachika impressed me the most :)
Kimi to Boku no Future
I was surprised that they did this song. It was really cute though♥
For the next corner they had to bring out chairs and two tables, and when Miyachika and Shizuya pushed a table together, Miyachika was leading Shizuya like some traffic police while dancing it was so hilarious (again i couldn't explain it well sorry ;;)
KAJILEAUGE
This is a corner where Kaji's the MC and the other four each have to write one hiragana(or kanji or katakana) to the questions and if their answers make the correct word, they get a point. The member with the lowest point has a punishment.
I'm not going to write all the questions, but some of Uminchu's answers were written backwards like し was written as J and stuff, but apparently that was because he though the audience saw it that way xD Adorableeee
In the end, Uminchu was the lowest, and his punishment was to get hit by this elastic rubber thing that was stretched out far and reaches his cheeks. He had to do it twice because his first try was too boring xD
They all change to a different costume with just a different jacket- this time it was a vest and they wore hats and had those sticks for walking. Aran/Kaji had red vests, Miyachika/Shizuya/Uminchu had blue vests.
SHORT SKIT

It starts out completely ordinary, but in the end Uminchu and Aran bump each other
Kaji screams to the ground really loud
Kaji (to Aran): "are you hurt? are your legs fine?" Aran: "It's actually my hips"
Kaji: (ignores) "are your legs fine?"
Kaji blames Uminchu
Miyachika says "How can we stand being in a show with you guys?!"
A/K leave. The remaining three dance.
They leave and A/K dance this time.
Seishun Amigo
The two groups dance facing each other
Miyachika gets injured
Kaji screams loud again and goes to Miyachika
All is well again. End of skit.

Traja was committed to showing the audience how good they are at dancing, it's like their weapon. It was really the best way for them to hold a concert. I can't say it enough how perfect they were and that this really brought out all of their personalities. I really can't believe only after being together for a year they were about to get a solo concert plus be so good in dancing, as a traja fan it really is something to be proud about.
