So anyways, here's pretty much been an outline of my past few weeks.
There were finals: ewwwwww. But HA since I'm only taking four HS courses I only took four finals. (yay for middle school) There was also this terrible quiz Mrs. Carlton (AAS teacher) gave us regarding test taking strategies...... but she forgot to give us the notes for the open-note quiz. So yeah, she was getting reallly ticked off when we were saying "Uh.... Mrs. Carlton we don't have any of this." And she was realllly mad. So then..... there was also the LAST DAY OF THE SEMEMESTER that's a major woo. I can't wait for the next semester to be over as well. And this one's gone by quick which is good.
Okay there were also two band concerts, one for symphonic and beginners so I, by default, went to that one and played with symphonic and helped with the anxious beginners. And then there was the Concert I/Concert II band concert which I came to as well to help with those bands and to play an ensemble with Symphonic+Concert I. The ensemble was....... okay. One of our players didn't show, only to be greeted the next day with "Oh sorry, I forgot." That made me mad. How can someone forget a concert we've been preparing for for a month/two months? pfffttt.
Friday night was the kidzone volunteer party, so since I'm Kidzone tech man I came and it was seventies attire and we played Let's Make a Deal. It was mostly adults but there was also Callie (my sis), Megan Yoes, and the Walker kids who help with preschoolers. (you prolly don't know them)
Then today, I stayed at home babysitting while my parents went downtown for a graduation.
Then........ woah...... we went to see the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA tonight!!!!!!! Me+Allison Short+Taylor Concialdi=major fun. The movie was amazing, the effects were awesome, the actors were grand, and, amazingly, none of the spiritual elements were cut out. It's a story of the Christian battle we face, A story of sacrifice (like the crucifiction of Jesus), and resurrection.
It was soooo cool how C.S. Lewis used this chilren's tale to symbolize spiritual elements. You just have to see the movie. It's way cool.
Then Taylor and Ally and I drove around with Mrs. Short first trying to find the light [I won't espain :)] and also dropped by Bed Bath and Beyond while Mrs. Short picked something up and we just kinda stood around with awkwardness and... uh..... strangeness, right Taylor? haha.
If that made no sense, ask Taylor or Ally.
Sweetest of thoughts,
