who else has a bell tower near them on campus? is it just me, or is it extremely disheartening to have something reminding you, every 15 minutes, that more time has passed and that you haven't gotten much done in that time? it's also a little like chinese water torture, enough to make you go insane...sometimes i can't even tell if that stupid bell tower is actually ringing or if i'm just imagining it. so then sometimes i check my watch to see if the time is at a 15-minute segment of the hour. and whether it is or is not, i'm forcibly reminded how much time has passed and how little i've gotten done...on the bright side, each time the fake electronically programmed bells chime, i'm 15 minutes closer to summer :D
