Fall break was everything I needed it to be. Chill time with Andrew, fun and games on roller coasters at Carowinds, and not-campus food. Not to mention next to no work.
However, I should have done a lot more work than I did. For example, I forgot to bring my Colonial America paper with me to Clemson to edit, and Prof. Slater got all pissy about me not having it on Wednesday (when the whole reason I was supposed to turn it in then was because she had forgotten to bring my draft back for three days). Also, a lot more russian should have been studied, and I'm primevally screwed for the test tomorrow. Other than that though, I did what I needed to do.
I can't believe this semester is already half over, but I am very glad that it is. Fortunately, next semester shouldn't be so much work. I only have to take two histories, and one of them is my research project, which I make the appointments to meet for. Also, I get to take BS credits to fill in--like yoga.
In other news, I will not be going to Russia as the program would return me to the US three days after the two Grad programs I applied to begin. I'm sad that I don't get to go, but on the other hand, I don't have the money really either. Besides, I've got bigger fish to fry.
It would appear that in May I'll be moving in with Andrew at least temporarily. After much consideration, although the education would undoubtedly be better at UMD, I really don't want to go back home. In fact, I'm dreading going back for Christmas, and I'll only be there a little over two weeks. Seeing as it would be nearly impossible for Clemson to reject me, I'm more or less planning on playing the boy-motivated decision card and staying in SC for grad school.
My family will not be pleased about this.
