So I got home at 11:30 this morning.
Needless to say, last night was an eventful evening... hehehe.
It appears that this weekend shall make up for all the crap that this past week put me though. Yesterday I went out to chopstick house with Kyle and Luke, then chilled over in their suite for several hours watching Animal House and then telling ghost stories until I was summoned to go on an escapade with Daniel. Dan's entailed the usual night of sin and indie music. That guy makes my day...er... nights.
Today I have a shit ton of homework to get rolling on, as well as some cleaning up and laundry to do. Later, I'm headed to go hang with Luke and Kyle again to teach Luke how to play flip cup, and teach both of them how to play Kings. Jacob is going to be there too, and we're all going to lose to that goliath of a German man. But it should be hellza fun.
The other day I smacked Kyle in the ass. Not particularly hard or anything, but even so, he's been walking with his ass to the wall for the last two days around me. It's mild hilariosity. Well, except yesterday when he picked me up and started flinging me around the room and nearly hooked my earring on the door lock... that was scary--but he didn't mean to and was very apologetic about nearly clipping off the top of my ear. S'all cool now.
I have also noticed that when I'm around most of my friends down here I don't talk with an accent (Aside from the Marylander one that I obviously can't hear), However, when I'm around Greenville (grin-vl) kids, like Kevin in my History group, or Daniel, well, you start to imitate the way they talk like crazy. It all starts with the word "no." It isn't "no," it is more "naou." And the other vowels just get more stretched out from there. want is wont, water is of course wouder, etc. I have yet to figure out whether I'm doing it on purpose, or if its just finally the southerness of everything down here kicking in.
