Always Call Someone....
For the past month my co-worker who is supposed to work this shift with me has completely bailed. Last minute, no call, no show, and today I hear that she's pregnant and getting married but my friend wasn't supposed to tell me that.
I'm fucking pissed. There's no reason unless you are rolled over in a ditch or for some reason have been rushed to the hospital that you can't make a phone call to tell ANYONE that you won't be able to make it to work. Especially FOUR WEEKS IN A ROW!
I hope she doesn't bother showing her face next week either (it's our last week of school) I'd rather work this hectic shift alone than have to sit next to someone who's completely disregarded their responsibilities and abandon someone else. What if no one showed up to cover this shift? I feel like nearly ALL of my coworkers have next to no work ethic and don't think twice about the situation they put their co-workers in.
What is WRONG with my generation!?
