Wow, I just realized it's been a month since I posted. I visited Tiffany in Missouri this past weekend. I got there just before the 15 inches of snow. Because the employees at Tiffany's apartment complex are asshats (thank you for the word Amber), They barely did any clean-up on Friday and disappeared over the entire weekend. Most of the occupants were stuck, got stranded trying to get out, or didn't even try to leave. Since my small portable shovel broke under the heavy snow, I dug my car out using my hands, feet, and my ice scraper. A friendly neighbor helped Tiffany and me unbury her car and push it through the ice to a clean lot across the street. We still had a good time though, decorating her tree and watching Azkaban and various Christmas specials.
The negative impacts of the winter weather?--My windshield had gotten a rock chip a couple weeks ago. The three feet of snow from a drift created a crack in the windshield that runs almost the entire length--I'll have to get that replaced. And due to falling on the ice three times (one of which was the splits), my watch broke at the clasp. I think Dad or I can fix it, though. Otherwise I'll just take it apart and buy a new band.
