Quick, unorganized thoughts about last night's VM
Logan telling Veronica as she boards the bus, "I'm gonna miss you." I didn't understand his tense until second watching. And now I'm really freaked that he might have been involved in the accident. But probably not, since all signs point to yes. But if he's innocent, why did he use that verb tense? Aargh!
Logan having an affair with Mrs. Casablancas. Dude's hitting a new low.
Logan getting violent when Veronica was breaking up with him. Some people will probably say it's his father coming out in him; that, like it or not, Aaron is his father and the example he learned from, for good or for bad. But I don't think that's the reason he acted the way he did. IMO, he lashed out like a wounded animal. Backed into a corner, hanging all his hopes and dreams on this girl he thinks he loves, and it's not fair to Veronica.
Also? Logan's still not over Lilly. He totally called her his girlfriend.
RT pulling a fast one with the Logan/Duncan switcheroo. I was all, "Oh, no he di-ent!" But then I put aside my gut reaction and thought about it some. Three months is a long time when you're in high school. And they showed her with Logan and her reasons for breaking up with him, and then Duncan's low-key courting. We know she has unresolved feelings for Duncan; that's been there since episode one. So as much as I like her with Logan, I'm going to see how this one plays out.
BTW, felt Teddy Dunn's acting markedly improved last night. We'll see how it goes as the season progresses. I did want to see more of his reaction to Veronica not being on the bus, and I would have liked to have seen some of the before, when he thought she was on it. Second watch I noticed he did have teary eyes.
I loved Veronica's shirt in the limo flashback with Logan. Shallow but true!

The implication that Lilly saved Veronica's life. Second watch made that clear to me. I was too caught up the first time through with the fact that RT had said we wouldn't be having any visits from Lilly/Amanda Seyfried this season.
Random. Weevil's got a soft spot for Veronica. And I enjoyed Dick's sarcastic deferential treatment of Veronica, and how he treated her that way regardless of which guy was the current boyfriend. Must go check MI.net to find out what song played at the very end.
