Rant-o-matic
So it strikes me that I haven't had a chance to update the world in general about my life, mainly coz I've been too bloody busy to log in to lj. Well, stuff has happened and the upshot of it is this:

So I'm walking to the bus stop from work tonight and pass a house that has a sign stuck in its hedge that says 'Conservative' and nothing else. Srsly. Not 'vote Conservative' or anything. Just the one word. I still don't get what that's all about. Is it flagging the house up as being aligned to one political party so as to stop any potential canvassers? Is it like a 'warning, vicious dogs' sign; 'WARNING: Conservatives in the area! Don't step any closer!' or what? I don't have a fucking clue but it amused me greatly and this is coming from someone who prolly *will* be voting for the buggers next election simply coz they're the only party here with a chance of toppling Labour and they can hardly screw the country over any more than the current batch of twats have been doing can they?
- I own a two-floor maisonette now
- The previous point means we have a computer room that *will* be littered with dragon mirrors, weiord clocks, bar equipment and basically everything I can afford that vaguely piques my interest.
- I own two rats and two cats. Yeah. This is called 'get your own place and instantly grab all the pets you're comfortable taking on'. Now if somebody could tell my rats that when I reach into the cage I'm not *always* going to have a treat in hand I'd be much obliged (this be my wife's Photobucket album in case some of the titles confuse you)
