(no subject)
So... umm, sorry to all who may have mistakenly assumed that I'd somehow died/got removed from time and space/was exterminated by Daleks. I'm still around and as geeky as ever. X)
So. The weekend. Steve came over and we all had good fun with pirated karaoke and obscenely good discount vouchers on takeout pizza. And we *may* have stumbled across a potential candidate for an early stag night for me - Reel Big Fish are coming to London at the end of August and methinks that unless somebody *really* awesome announces tour dates in the next few weeks that will do nicely for a random night out (as much as I'd love to see Bauhaus and Anathema, both of whom are touring near-ish my wedding, I'm not really sure I'd force my friends into seeing them as only one or two would appreciate it... so hrm, at the very least I'm gonna have to go on me own to the Anathema thing coz I MUST SEE THEM OR DIE TRYING!!!!111)
Anyways, was bought Mario 64 DS a few days ago and am already 30 stars into the thing. I cannot stress enough how much I loved the original Mario 64... only a handful of games rival it in terms of one-player action as far as I'm concerned (those being Yoshi's Island, Super Metroid, Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 7, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and hrm... I guess Skies of Arcadia should go in there as well) so a slightly revamped version is just what I needed seeing as I'm a sucker for replaying games over and over and hadn't done so with Mario 64 for a good while.
So yeah.IF I DON'T GET ANYTHING DONE FOR A WHILE BLAME MARIO OK?
