I'm going CRAZY about choosing guitar!! ><
Help me, wich one should I take.

I can not afford Uruhas real ESP guitar, 490,000 yen! xD
So I want the Grassroots, it is a copy I know, but it's ten times cheaper! And I Love It! ^^
But I don't know anything about Grassroots, I don't want to buy a shitty guitar that I can't stand the sound of. ><

This is it:

There's a high chance I'll get the ESP A-1 one day. :3 I'm going to wait until the economy is better, because here in the US, the dollar is like 90 yen. @.@ It used to be 300 yen like ten years ago! (No, I'm not super old. :P) Plus, I've inquired and the market price of the ESP Aoi A-1 is around 380,000 yen if I fly over and buy it in a store. Plus, I can wait... I have more time to be worthy of such a guitar.

EMGs do tend to have a "metal" sound, however it is also fairly versatile. So, I wouldn't worry too much about it sounding "metal" if you don't want it to. If you don't like how it sounds, you can change strings. Different strings have different tones, such as one is brighter sounding and another is more mellow. Thicknesses also play a factor. The thicker the strings, the more metal vibrates across the pickup, and you'll get a thicker sound.

Another plus about EMGs is that you get a clean sound without much feedback. You'd be surprised how much noise you might hear with other pickups (when no strings are being played). But that's just a small plus. :P The EMGs and Seymour Duncans are comparable and both good for Gazette's music, although they do sound a little different.

About the ESP LTD Horizon, the bridge pickup (the lower one) is a Seymour Duncan, and the neck pickup is the one with the Jazz pickup. This is ideal, because for soothing smooth sounding jazz leads, you'd select the neck pickup to use. For crunch, distortion, and etc. you'll use the Seymour Duncan. So, no, the jazz pickup should be good for parts such as the solos, which Aoi plays (with crunch). Notice how it sounds kinda round and smooth. :D The Seymour Duncan would be used for parts like the beginning to Agony. The only thing that may be a "problem" is the guitar body and not give the tone you're looking for (the reason being the amount of wood needed to resonate). But! Don't worry about that. :D

I don't own an EMG equipped guitar, although I've heard a lot of good things about them. For a beginner guitar, the guitars you're looking at would be good/just fine for you as long as they feel comfortable and NATURAL. For example, if you find a neck too thick, it'll hinder you if you don't have strong hands. Or too thin and it feels awkward. As you get better, you can adjust to other necks, but it'll be really difficult to if you don't find that comfortable guitar to start with.

Gazette has a nu-metal kind of sound to them. :P Seymour Duncans or EMGs are ideal. Here's a video comparing the sounds. (You probably don't need to watch the whole thing, but it'd be good to know things, such as the EMGs use batteries. @.@) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSDac4In9ho

Hope that wasn't too long. XD;;

Oh, but that video isn't what your guitar would sound like, because of the settings on his amp.

Thank you.

OK, if that's the case I should probably choose with EMG or seymour duncan pickups, not some jazz pickups, cus I like the Uruha sound much more than Aois ;P
I know you didn't say that exactly but that'swhat it feels like :P

The video was helpful, I have never thought about that other people might wonder the same things I do. And that youtube have these great clips. XD

I heard from one person that bought the grassroots uruha model that it's a pretty good guitar for beginners. But the thing is that I don't want some shit guitar that you CAN play on but sounds pretty bad. Probably I wouldn't notice in the beginning, but anyways.
I want a good guitar, that I won't need to buy a new after a year when I realise that it is awful... :P
Cus if learn the basis I would probably start to play a whole lot.

I don't know, it's hard. >< haha

Don't worry about writing too long!
All that you have written has been new for me, and it helps a lot, thank you again! ^^
